Courtney Roberts, a senior at Ball State University and a graduate of Central Noble High School, has been selected to serve as the Noble County Ambassador through Ball State University’s County Ambassador Program.

As a county representative, Roberts will work with Noble County leaders to promote the county and region to fellow students on campus and through social media. Each partnership between Ambassador and the county customizes the experience to reflect local priorities and ensure the county is well represented. This collaborative approach to county ambassadorship provides a unique opportunity to shine a light on the county’s strengths and areas of untapped potential.

“The County Ambassador Program is a powerful way to connect our students with Indiana communities. It allows students like Courtney to celebrate where they come from while helping their peers see what makes their hometowns great places to live, work, and build a future.” said Chrystal Pearson, Associate Director for Industry Engagement at Ball State University. “We’re excited to have Courtney in the program and to help students better understand the opportunities available in Noble County.”

County Ambassadors share why their home communities are great places to live, work, and thrive. Ambassadors represent their counties both face-to-face and online, often highlighting local culture, opportunities, and businesses. Some ambassadors also showcase local products through creative social media content, including unboxing videos that feature items from their home counties.

Roberts was selected for her leadership, strong community ties, and commitment to representing Noble County with pride. The Community Foundation of Noble County will support her throughout the year as she helps tell Noble County’s story on the Ball State campus.

“Courtney represents the kind of leadership and hometown pride that makes Noble County special,” said Margarita White, President & CEO of the Community Foundation of Noble County. “Her selection as a County Ambassador is an exciting opportunity to share our community’s strengths, talent, and spirit with a broader audience. We are proud to support her as she helps tell Noble County’s story and inspires others to see the value of investing in and returning to communities like ours.”
