This scholarship is to assist non-traditional students already enrolled in a or beginning college, university, or trade school program, re-training due to changes in the workplace, or who desires to better their life through additional educational opportunities.  Applicant may be a full time or part time student. Applicant should be 25 years or older at time of application.   Applicants must be a current resident of Noble County, Indiana. Applicant may reapply. Awards $1,500

DONOR STORY

Max Roesler III started the Max and Elizabeth Roesler Scholarship in memory of his parents Max II and Elizabeth Roesler. Max II was born to German immigrants in Chicago, Illinois. He worked through college in Chicago and his first business job was in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He retired as treasurer of Essex Wire Corporation. Max’s mother came from a large family of four sisters and two brothers in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She grew up in the Catholic Church and went through nurses training.
