Community Impact Grant

The Community Foundation of Noble County welcomes applications from 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, schools, and government entities serving Noble County residents. Faith-based organizations are eligible if their project is nonsectarian and benefits the wider community.

Yes — all applicants must meet with program staff.

Before submitting your application, you are required to meet with the Director of Community Engagement and Leadership or the Program Associate. This conversation helps ensure your project fits the foundation’s funding priorities and gives you the opportunity to ask questions or clarify your proposal.

After submission, staff will also follow up to schedule a meeting to review your application in more detail.

Once submitted, your application is reviewed by the Grants Committee, which includes community members and youth representatives. Final approval comes from the Board of Directors, and you’ll receive a decision within 60 days of the deadline.

The Community Foundation of Noble County generally does not fund:

• Individuals or private businesses

• Political or religious campaigns

• Debt reduction or endowment building

• Routine operating expenses without a defined project plan

• Projects completed before the grant deadline

Yes. If your application isn’t funded, we encourage you to connect with our program staff for feedback before reapplying in a future grant cycle.

You can apply once per year for a Community Impact Grant. To reapply, you must not have an active grant open and should have used any previous grant funds as proposed in your approved application.

All grant recipients are required to submit a Final Report within one year of completing their project. This report should include:

• What was accomplished and who benefited

• How funds were spent

• Supporting materials such as photos, invoices, or survey results

Timely submission of this report keeps your organization eligible for future grants.
