LIGONIER — The Community Foundation of Noble County has announced that 10 of Noble County’s top high school seniors have advanced to the final round of consideration for the prestigious Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship.

This highly competitive scholarship provides full tuition for four years to an accredited Indiana college or university, awarded to one student who demonstrates academic excellence, leadership, community involvement and volunteer service.

After a thorough review of applications submitted in September, a committee of volunteer judges representing the east, west, and central areas of Noble County selected these students for final interviews:

• Julian Campos, West Noble High School

• Kelsee Coil, Churubusco Jr.-Sr. High School

• Nathan Cole, East Noble High School

• Chloe Gibson, East Noble High School

• Isaak Gierscher, Churubusco Jr.-Sr. High School

• Boston Koons, East Noble High School

• Emmanuel Serrano, Churubusco Jr.-Sr. High School

• Grace Swank, Central Noble Jr.-Sr. High School

• Weston Ott, Churubusco Jr/Sr High School

• Jalayna Winebrenner, Central Noble Jr/Sr High School

In addition to strong academics, all candidates have demonstrated leadership, volunteerism, extracurricular involvement or work experience, and a grade-point average of 3.80 or higher.

Finalists will now be submitted to Independent Colleges of Indiana (ICI), the statewide administrator of the scholarship program, for final review. One Noble County recipient will be announced in early December 2025. Each of the remaining finalists will receive a $2,500 scholarship from the Community Foundation of Noble County in recognition of their excellence and dedication.

The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program was established to raise Indiana’s level of educational attainment, highlight the important role of community foundations and encourage scholarship recipients to stay connected to Indiana’s civic and professional networks.

A total of 147 Lilly scholarships will be awarded across the state this year. Learn more about the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship or the foundation’s broader scholarship programs, visit www.cfnoble.org.
