The Linda Tilghman Healthcare Scholarship is available to high school seniors who are attending the Primary Healthcare Program at Impact Institute. Applicants must plan to pursue a two- or four-year degree at an accredited institution leading to a career in healthcare, such as nursing, radiologic technology, surgical technology, respiratory therapy, dentistry, therapy (physical, occupational, speech), or physician assistant studies.

Additional Criteria:
Open to any high school senior enrolled in the Primary Healthcare Program at Impact Institute.
Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50. Extra essay required, “Discuss how working with patients has impacted your outlook on a career in healthcare.” A one-time award of $1,000. At least one reference on the main application must be from a teacher/instructor at Impact Institute and applicants are encouraged to use a reference from a co-worker or employer in their field of study.

Essay length: 300–400 words.
