For one (1) Central Noble High School senior entering a two- year or four- year college as a full time student. Must have a high school GPA average of at least 3.50 or higher. Scholarship is given to a student who is pursuing a career in animal science, agriculture, nursing, medical or dental field, or physical health science prioritized in that order. Dr. David VanMeter was born in Monroeville, Indiana and raised in Allen County, Indiana. He graduated from New Haven High School; attended Blackburn College while in the Navy; and graduated from Michigan State University. He had a Type A personality, because he could get things done when they needed to be done, and this was important to his profession as a veterinarian.
