LIGONIER — The Community Foundation of Noble County has announced the awarding of four grants from the Fred and Rose Cunningham Memorial Fund, supporting student programs at West Noble School Corporation. Each grant of $500 provides meaningful support to these programs:
- West Noble Middle School Fishing Club
- West Noble High School FFA Program
- West Noble High School Cheerleaders Mini Cheer Camp
- West Noble High School Volleyball Program
These gifts reflect the generous and community-centered legacy of Fred and Rose Cunningham, longtime Noble County residents who believed deeply in supporting young people and giving back.
Fred, a former school board member and passionate 4-H supporter, grew up on the family farm in Perry Township. Rose, a talented artist and journalist, was active in numerous civic and church organizations. Together, they raised a family rooted in education, service and the values of small-town life.
Their fund continues to invest in the next generation, helping students learn, grow, and thrive.
