Jazmín Herrera grew up in Ligonier, Indiana, with deep roots in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. A graduate of West Noble High School (Class of 2016), she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Saint Mary’s College in 2020 and graduated in 2023 with her Master’s in Nonprofit Administration from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business. Jazmín is passionate about creating equitable opportunities for underrepresented populations and strives to be a changemaker in her work.
Hired as Program Director in May 2023 at the Community Foundation of Noble County, Jazmín initially oversaw the foundation’s grantmaking program and led P.U.L.S.E. (Philanthropists Utilizing Lifelong Service and Education), inspiring youth in philanthropy. Recently promoted to Director of Community Engagement and Leadership, she continues to oversee the foundation’s grantmaking program and P.U.L.S.E. while also leading efforts to foster community connections, enhance leadership development, and build strategic partnerships. Her role includes coordinating nonprofit training, facilitating community convening, and bridging community engagement with donor development to further the foundation’s mission and create lasting impact.
