Make an impact on Noble County as the next Program Director of the Community Foundation of Noble County. This position is primarily responsible for all grantmaking, but will work closely with other departments within the Foundation. 

The Board of Trustees will be looking for someone community-minded who can build strong, lasting relationships with CFNC’s partner organizations, agencies, and donors. They need to be able to identify opportunities and determine how CFNC can be a positive catalyst to strengthen the community.

A Program Director will be organized, as the day-to-day work of grantmaking includes evaluating grant proposals, conducting applicant interviews and site visits, leading committee meetings, and making grant award announcements.

This position also acts as a PULSE (Philanthropists Utilizing Lifelong Service and Education) Navigator, supporting teens as they learn philanthropic skills and how to be a leader in their community.

As a leader within the Community Foundation, the Program Director develops an annual action plan and goals for the organization, represents CFNC at community events, and has a desire to grow and learn professionally.

To be successful, this position requires:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Strong Leadership and Management skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software quickly

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in business, non-profit management, project management, organizational leadership, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of program experience in a professional capacity.

Base pay commensurate based on experience with consideration of local, regional, and industry-specific salary survey data. Vacation and holiday pay, health benefit stipend, retirement match and professional development provided.
