Community Foundation of Noble County Receives $750,000 Matching Grant!

Lilly Endowment Inc. has generously gifted the Community Foundation of Noble County a matching fund grant of $750,000 as a part of their Giving Indiana Funds for Tomorrow initiative.

 

Three funds are available at the community foundation that will be matched by Lilly Endowment Inc.: The Ligonier Childcare Center Project Fund will be matched on a $1:$1 basis, the Community Foundation’s Operating Endowment Fund will also be matched on a $1:$1 basis, and the Foundation’s Unrestricted Community Impact Fund will be matched on a $2:$1 basis!

 

You can double or even triple your monetary impact through this opportunity by giving to any of these funds. When you give to the Childcare or Operating Endowment funds, your money is doubled by the Endowment, and when you give to the Community Impact fund, your money is tripled by the Endowment!

 

The Community Foundation of Noble County and Lilly Endowment Inc. both share a common goal: to improve the quality of life in Indiana through effective philanthropy. This is a spectacular way to enhance the community we call home. What better way to do it than with a double/triple dollar match?

In order to meet the needs of Noble County, the Foundation has developed goal amounts to raise for these funds:

  • $225,000 for the Ligonier Childcare Center Fund
  • $75,000 for the Community Foundation of Noble County Operating Endowment Fund
  • $225,000 for the Community Impact Fund.

 

There are a variety of options to give, including giving a gift of stock, talking with the Executive Director Margarita White or your financial advisor, and giving online! There, you can select one of the three funds and make your contribution for the betterment of our community!
