Noble House Homeless Shelter Fund
To provide assistance to Noble House Homeless Shelter.
Donor Fund Story:
Noble House Ministries Inc. consists of three shelters: Noble House, Pilot House and Our House. The shelters are dedicated to the care and recovery of the Noble County area’s homeless, abused and those struggling with addictions. Funded by grants and donations from churches, organizations, businesses, foundations, individuals and volunteers, Noble House Ministries Inc. is a non-profit organization.
The mission of Noble House Ministries Inc. is: “To provide a safe and nurturing environment for individuals and families overcoming difficulties. We help those who wish to embark on a journey of rebuilding, learning and emerging.”
Noble House is a shelter for women and their children who are struggling with homelessness, addiction, or domestic violence. The hope is to provide a chance to start anew; to accomplish a dream that an abusive partner and/or circumstances prevented. Noble House provides the encouragement and supportive services necessary for developing self-sufficiency. The shelter also provides the time and “safe place” needed to begin healing and to move toward a life of independence.
Pilot House is a shelter for men: it provides a beacon of hope for men in our community who are homeless and in crisis. For many men who feel they are at the end of their rope, the Pilot House has been a “knot” they could hold on to. Pilot House is determined to provide compassionate help, individual attention, and a plan for success to anyone who seeks our assistance.
Our House is a transitional safe-haven for women and children who are seeking safety through shelter, assistance and support.
The Noble House Homeless Shelter Fund was started at the Noble County Community Foundation, Inc. in August of 1996. The purpose of the fund is to provide funding to help carry out the mission of Noble House Ministries Inc.
