For a West Noble High School senior attending a 2 or 4-year college or university with evidence of community service/volunteer involvement. Preference to students with a GPA of 2.50 to 3.00 and to those students pursuing the field of study in the following order of agriculture, education (teaching), social work, or accounting. Edward served in the Marines and used the GI Bill to graduate from Iowa State with a degree in agricultural economics.
Beverly spent many hours volunteering and was named Ligonier Citizen of the Year in 1985. She served on the Board of Directors for the Ruth Shultz Nursery School and Lighthouse Ministries in Ligonier, and was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and the Ligonier Study Club.
Ed and Bev were avid supporters of West Noble High School, where their four children (Karen, Bruce, Crystal, and Amy) participated in athletics, cheerleading, drama, and extra-curricular clubs.
