To provide support to Junior Achievement programs in Noble County.
Donor Fund Story:
Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to partnering with educators to teach students about financial literacy, Career Readiness, and Entrepreneurship through experiential programs designed for Pre-Kindergarten through high school.
In JA of Noble County, there JA programs in all three school systems – currently reaching more than 2700 students. JA’s pillars continue to be Financial Literacy, Career Readiness, and Entrepreneurship – but in the last few years, we have really emphasized careers in our region in Manufacturing, Building Trades, and Skilled professions. As the needs of the school’s change (i.e. E-learning) JA is committed to changing with them. The success of Junior Achievement can only be achieved with the support and engagement of the community with the assistance of volunteers, donors, and board members.
All around us, we see evidence of young adults who do not get the basic financial literacy skills or work readiness training that they need to succeed. The need for Junior Achievement’s educator requested programs is clear. And in all communities, the need continues to become more urgent than ever.
