The Community Foundation of Noble County is pleased to announce the recipients of the first 2026 grant cycle from the Community Impact Fund. This cycle focused on Human Services and Senior Issues, supporting programs that strengthen care, access, and quality of life for residents across Noble County. Through this round of funding, the Foundation has awarded grants to the following organizations:
- Lutheran Life Villages — $6,226
Creating a therapeutic sensory room to reduce falls with major injury and antipsychotic use - Community Action of Northeast Indiana dba Brightpoint — $5,000
Supporting the Covering Kids and Families of Brightpoint program - Town of Albion Parks Department — $25,000 (match)
Supporting the Diamond Discovery Zone - Noble County Council on Aging, Inc. — $5,000
Supporting additional drivers for the Noble Transit System - Ligonier United Methodist Church — $6,706
Installing a fire system for Ruth Stultz Preschool - Healthier Moms and Babies — $5,000
Supporting prenatal home visit services for Noble County families - Long Term Care Ombudsman Program of Northeast Indiana — $5,000
Supporting residents of long-term care facilities in Noble County - Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana — $5,000
Providing mental health counseling and emotional support services - Cole Center Family YMCA — $10,500
Supporting senior well-being programs - Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Indiana — $10,000
Supporting programs for Noble County families - Community Learning Center, Inc. — $10,000
Creating accessible entries for all people - Kendallville Rotary Club — $2,000
Supporting the International Cultural Youth Exchange Program - City of Kendallville — $2,500

These grants reflect the heart of our community, and support organizations that are meeting real needs including caring for seniors, strengthening families, improving accessibility, and ensuring that every resident has the opportunity to live with dignity and support.
The Community Impact Fund is designed to respond to Noble County’s most pressing challenges and opportunities. By investing in local nonprofits, schools, and community initiatives, the Foundation continues to connect people who care with causes that matter, unlocking what’s possible for Noble County.
