Wible, Gene Lakeview Cemetery Fund

Donor Fund Story:

Gene Marie Wible was born on Mott Street in Kendallville on December 18^th, 1921 to a family of four. She graduated from Kendallville High School in 1940 and married Arthur Wible on February 26^th, 1944 at their family home in Kendallville. Together, they owned and operated Wible’s Department Store in Wolcottville from 1948 to 1977. She was a member of Trinity Church United Methodist in Kendallville and was a 50 year member of both the Order of Eastern Star and Sylvan Chapter 251. These organizations were dedicated to serving wives, daughters, and mothers of Master Masons. She was dedicated to her community and served as the past president of the American Legion Post 86 auxiliary. This fund continues her legacy of community enhancement by providing for Lakeview Cemetery.
