The purpose of the Lemmon-Rupert Endowment Fund is to support Lutheran Church of the Messiah of Lewiston, New York and the remainder of the spendable amount is granted to various Noble County charitable purposes at the discretion of the fund advisors.
Donor Fund Story:
The Lemmon-Rupert Endowment Fund was established in August of 2002 by Ruth Lemmon Rupert and her brother Ben Lemmon. The fund is a donor-advised endowment fund. A donor-advised fund is a type of fund that allows the fund advisors to recommend charitable organizations to benefit.
Ruth Lemmon Rupert passed away February 1, 2005 at the age of 90 but her legacy will continue to live on through the Lemmon-Rupert Endowment Fund.
